Apocalypse Now, Cool Hand Luke, Requiem for a Dream, The Straight Story, The Station Agent, The Cave of the Yellow Dog. These are all films I have rated a perfect 10.
This is a film for anyone that has a family, for anyone that has ever struggled for anything, for anyone that has a dog, for anyone. It seems to be more documentary than drama based around a family of Mongolian nomads with a narative introduced by the discovery of a dog by the eldest daughter in a cave.
Just watch it!!!!

Saw this a few weeks back but it still sticks in the mind. A fascinating insight into the lives of one Mongol family as they go about their daily life. There is a light plot but the main point is to show the viewer what these people are like and it was all very watchable and moved along nicely.
Dont miss it!

Such a good movie-a long time i had to see such a great movie.
It is more a documentary but absolutely capturing. Not much action, just simplicity from which we can learn here in the western world.
Absolutely stunning movie - I sooooo recommend it!!
