4.5 out of 10 kisses

Totally enjoyable film.at times it was sad and at others funny.I felt a though I was really with the children on their adventure. It is a really good coming of age movie. The music of Bob Dylan was used to great effect throughout the movie. It was a real eyeopener in seeing two youngsters and the danger they faced alone in a big city- a side of a city not on the tourist map!

4 out of 10 Brilliant
Klair from Dublin, 01 Jul 2009
I really enjoyed this movie and the 2 kids who played Dylan & Kylie were excellent and apparently had absolutely no acting experience before this movie. The movie starts in Black & White and as they escape their families and move towards the city, it morphs into colour...shows the not so nice sides to dublin and its people but is an absolutely great movie!!!

3 out of 10 Slow moving
Marie from Sligo, 20 Aug 2010
More of a family film had a good ending, but a slow start but good acting from the little ones could have expanded on the ending, as felt there could have been more to this film, but the voices seem to be out of sync a wee bit so if u lip read forget it !!

1.5 out of 10 Watchable
Orla from Kildare, 16 May 2010
I was expecting a lot more from this movie to be honest, however acting was very well done, but yet again another Irish movie set on the poverty line in society, and to be honest the Roddy Doyle movies did this best, check these out instead

Feargal from Dublin, 21 Jul 2009
This is an awful movie. Two kids find some money and escape into the capital for a night out. Lame Im sick of Irish movies being hyped up by the media just to get an audience.Avoid.

What's it about....
Irish drama following two children, Kylie (Kelly O'Neill) and Dylan (Shane Curry), who run away from their troubled family homes on the outskirts of Dublin at Christmas time. The pair head for the centre of the city, where they glimpse human life in all its colourful diversity - but as darkness falls and the night wears on, an uglier side of the city emerges and the two must rely on their wits and their friendship to survive.
