A rather bleak film about a realationship or affair between a divorved man and a married woman set in London. I think it's beuatifully shot and very realistic. It does not rely on music for atmosphere but yet has a really good mixture of songs. The story is a little weak but the performances are so outstanding that it doesn't matter in the least.

A dark film that I got very little out of. Perhaps if you like watching emotional uncoiling and destruction it has a certain appeal. I really don't think the sex scenes ( and I don't mind a good raw sex scene) added anything to it.

I like a good arthouse film - this wasn't. Couldn't watch past the first 45 minutes, and that was me giving it a decent chance. Avoid, life is just too short.
