It's a good representation of real life but SJP is too close to her previous characters and this spoils the whole movie a little bit. The book is (as usual) better but altogether it's a nice one. I would recommend it to women and couples, it's a movie about a mother, her relationship to her husband (even though the character is not devloped a lot) and it's not a chickflick.

I love chick flicks and I love Sarah Jessica Parker and even I hated it! total rubbish! very predictable, nothing unique about this at all. SJP is just Carrie Bradshaw with kids in this film.
